West Canmore Park

Looking for a great playground with a VIEW?! The playground at West Canmore Park is super fun and has amazing views of the surrounding mountains. There is a climbing structure and two tall slides for bigger kids, a toddler structure and slide, rope climber, mini zipline, 4 seat teeter-totter and more. It’s also just a short walk to beautiful stroller-friendly trails along the Bow River.

Three Sisters Playground

A list of the best playgrounds in Canmore could not be complete without this gem! The Three Sisters Playground at Ecole Notre-Dame des Monts has a really cool insect theme and tons of super fun features. Some of our favourites are the giant insect climber, three tall slides, saucer swings and bouldering wall! There are also beautiful mountain views to enjoy while playing.

Centennial Park

The playground at Centennial Park in Canmore is a huge, fenced playground with a train theme, located right in the centre of town. The playground has two large climbers, musical instruments, teeter totters and a unique accessible swing for wheel chairs. The playground is surrounded by large trees, which provide great shade on a hot day, and peekaboo mountain views.

Canmore Train Playground

The Canmore Train Playground is a bit older and smaller than the others on this list, but it has amazing views and great play value, especially for toddlers! The playground includes saucer swings, a train climber, little house for pretend play and teeter-totter. It is located right beside a disc golf course, which could make a great activity for older siblings while little ones enjoy the playground.
